Gil Carlson, President Wicked Wolf Press |
I've spent
most of my life as a rather serious guy. And a number of these years running a
number of prosperous mail order businesses, and hen as a marketing consultant
to a number top catalog companies.
Most
recently as a publisher running Wicked Wolf Press and writing and publishing
books on marketing and on writing books plus
books on copywriting and how one can start a career as a freelance
copywriter!
That said, I
have to admit that my personal preference is books on UFOs and aliens. Often I
would be reading an alien book from the pile next to my bed, and I wouldn't be
able to put it down until the wee hours.
Then I
discovered an interesting book that was out of print. So I rewrote this “The
Blue Project” and it was an immediate success.
All these
years it never occurred to me to write something that had the most interest to
me, but once I got started it seem very natural to me. Soon I wrote three more
books along these lines. Books on the Blue Planet Project Lost Chapters, the
Dulce Base Alien Underground and Remote Viewing Aliens!
So now I've had
to cut back on many of my other projects so I would be able to devote most of
my time to writing and marketing books on aliens and UFOs.
I suppose it’s
not surprising that after spending a good part of the day here at my computer
researching and writing about aliens, my head gets fuzzy and I feel like I’m actually
turning into an alien!
One thing
that I found interesting was that aliens and UFOs is a topic a lot of people do
not want to discuss.
I live in
Hampton, Virginia near the Langley Air Force Base and a neighbor of mine whom I
would occasionally discuss UFO’s with as he was on his back deck checking out
the evening sky, wouldn't even consider they were real.

Air Force escorting UFO, What the? |
A year or so
ago, I mentioned an old book I had read by an engineer who worked at Langley
Air Force back a number of years ago in the beginning days of Langley. He wrote
about the strange craft he often spotted in the sky, sometimes on his way to
work. And being an engineer, he kept a notebook and recorded it all and even
calculated their speed. (High speeds many times faster than any craft on this
Earth.)
Since my
neighbor was working at Langley, I shared a little information from that book
with him. He wasn't really interested, and didn't seem to believe in those
things.
Then when
one of my books on aliens came out, I decided to give him a copy. I really expected
him to laugh. So about a week after I gave it to him, I was surprised when he
came up to me and said it was the best book he had ever read and he couldn't
put it down.
Now here’s
where it gets even stranger. After discussing my book a little, my neighbor got
real quiet and serious and starting telling me about several experiences where
he had been abducted by aliens!
Since you've
read this far, it has occurred to me that I should probably share a little
information with you about these books I've written, so here goes:
